The actual MotoGP grid helmet
Let me set the stakes. The Pista GP RR is the same helmet MotoGP riders wear on race day. Not a "race-inspired" helmet. The actual thing. FIM certified, ECE 22.06, DOT, 100% carbon shell, and it shows up on your doorstep at 1,450 grams. That is a serious piece of equipment.
Put it on your head and the wind tunnel DNA is immediate. I've never felt a helmet cut through air this cleanly. I tested it on my naked MT-10 at full highway speed with zero fairing protection, and the faster I went, the more the helmet felt like it wasn't there. That rear spoiler isn't decoration. It's doing real work.
Then there's the visibility, 190 degrees horizontal, and AGV's 360 Adaptive Fit system lets you Velcro-tune the interior to your exact head shape. The visor optics are flawless edge to edge. The lock mechanism is the most confidence-inspiring in the segment.
At $1,679 it's a lot of money. So is a track day. If you're doing both, this helmet makes sense.
Who should buy this
Track-day riders and club racers who want genuine MotoGP-grade equipment and aren't shopping for a daily street helmet. If you're looking for one helmet to do everything, compare against the Supertech R10 or Shoei X-15. If you want the one the pros actually wear, this is the only answer on the list.
