Forged carbon at a non-forged-carbon price
Carbon fiber in a motorcycle helmet normally means $700 and up. The Sedici Duale Forged Carbon is $370. And it looks sicker than most of the helmets that cost double. Forged carbon patterns every shell uniquely, so nobody else at the gas station has your exact lid.
Comfort is where it surprised me. Seven-hour off-road days in the Duale and the padding held up the entire time. There's a ton of room in front of your mouth. Huge for motovlogging and for running a Cardo mic cleanly. The Cardo Pack Talk Pro install was one of the cleanest I've ever done; the shell has a flat adhesion area that's basically purpose-built for it.
Ventilation is solid, switches click positively even with thick ADV gloves, and the feature stack is wild for the money: GoPro mount on the visor, drop-down sun shield, pinlock-ready, DOT + ECE 22.06. At this price with this shell, it's one of the best-value ADV helmets on the market.
Who should buy this
ADV and dual-sport riders who want carbon-fiber style and all-day comfort without the $700-plus price tag. If you're doing constant highway touring, compare against a Shoei Hornet X2 or an Arai XD5 for a quieter ride, but those cost twice as much. For weekend adventure riders and budget-conscious tourers, the Duale is the smart buy.
